As old man winter prepares to pack it in and the geese return from Ca-nadia to fertilize our fields again, the thoughts of boys and men turn towards their summer love, bikes!
What better way to reacquaint yourself with your pride and joy then to give him/her a thorough going over with friends who think they know what they're talking about?

It's time again for the annual DESMO Oil Spill at the Ducati Ranch in picturesque Dutchess County.
This year's Spill will be held on Sunday, April 23 with a rain date on the following Sunday, April 30.
Here's an opportunity to do all the basic maintenance you've been neglecting or wasn't sure how to.
Oil will be changed (and hopefully not spilt on the Ranch's lovely garage floor), suspensions will be boinged, belts will be tightened, chains will be lubed, brakes will be bled, tails will be chopped, pizza will be eaten, bling will be installed, and other tasks that can be handled with a sledgehammer.
Have a new bit of kit and unsure how to get it on your bike?
There will be experts a plenty to help.
Frame sliders, chains, exhaust systems, wheels, tires, brakes, amongst other bits have been installed and tweaked in previous Spills.

This is a do-it-yourself event. There will be plenty of guidance and ridicule in equal measures from the peanut gallery, but please do not show up expecting a free overhaul of your bike by anyone except by yourself.
If you are interested in attending, cost is $10 for breakfast (bagels, donuts, coffee) and lunch (pizza, soda, water) per person.
You do not have to do maintenance (nor own a Ducati) to participate, but space is limited, so priority will be given to those with Ducatis who need to perform maintenance.
Remember, we're limited to a couple dozen people, so this event sells out quickly.

As always, we will presell Mobil 1 synthetic oil for motorcycles, your choice of 10W-40 or 20W-50, Per-form oil filters, and crush washers.
You do not need to purchase oil from us to change your oil.
This is merely done as a convenience for those who may have trouble transporting a gallon of oil on a motorcycle.
You may also purchase additional amounts, to bring home for future use.
Admission/Lunch: $10 per person
4 quarts of oil: $36
1 filter + 2 washers: $10
Any additional oil purchases must be in multiples of 4 quarts.
Please let note your bike’s year and make so that the right washers for your bike can be ordered and what maintenance you want to perform so the right tools are available.
